So I have Panzer Elite special edition and I downloaded and enable these mods in the same order PE3, scenarios2009 and scenarios 2010, and thats it. I have the
exes in windows 98 compatibility mode. Now my problem is that whenever I try to play the campaigns that were not default, (Panzer War, Tiger Ace, etc...) the
game starts to load them then closes and a window comes up saying, Sorry but mymenu.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Does anyone know how
to fix this? I have been able to play the Russian scenarios that were included in these downloads, like the one on the opening of Barbarossa, without a
problem. I'd really love to play through the whole campaign, I love the Eastern Front! Please help!

Did you install Patch 1.2 to Panzer Elite?
Does it happen from both the German and Allied campaign menu? Do all the scenarios seem to play ok? What is the date of the PanzerEliteThree mod you have. Does the main menu read Panzer Elite 3.10 ? |

I tried to install patch 1.2 but it says it can't overwrite the first file, and actually after install the menu says its version 1.2.
All the Allied campaigns work EXCEPT for Red Army 43, and Red Army 44-45. The ONLY German campaign that works that isnt a default campaign is the Brit Wars. Which sucks because I have no interest in the Allied campaigns or Brit Wars. (No offense to the creators, I'm just an ost front buff) All of the scenarios seem to play fine, the Berlin Bears one, several Russians I've tried, the last Das Reich one and so forth. As to the date of the PE3 mod I have I'm not sure how to tell, it says created Oct 15 2009 which is when I downloaded it. The PE.exe in the mod file says created same date, modified April 12, 2009. And yes the main menu in the game reads 3.10. Also it seems that after I play a mission, then a few minutes into my next mission the game quits saying that Gameproject.exe has encountered an error and needs to close, just like mymenu.exe error I have. This one is of course more workable as I can just save and reload after each mission. Thanks for your help BTW. |
